De color intenso, igual que en boca, resulta redondo y persistente como corresponde a una gran añada.
- [Aalto presentado en el Salón de Gourmet](https://aalto.es/aalto-presentado-en-el-salon-de-gourmet-2/): En marzo de 2014 se celebraron los premios del Salón Gourmets, donde se le concedió a Aalto PS 2010 una puntuación de  99/100. «Este proyecto comenzó por parte del enólogo Mariano García -Bodegas Mauro- y Javier Zaccagnini, acompañados por algunos inversores entusiastas del vino. A posteriori, las familias Masaveu -Fillaboa, Murúa, Pagos de Aráiz- y Nozaleda –Bodegas Enate- adquirieron el 80% del accionariado a partes iguales. Su Aalto PS roza la perfección.»
