AALTO Blanco de Parcela

Fuente de las Hontanillas

Climatic conditions

Autumn was mild, with rainfall throughout October followed by drier conditions towards the end of the season. The first frosts arrived in late December and were not particularly severe.

Winter began with pleasant temperatures, with the lowest values recorded at the end of January. February was marked by foggy conditions and ended with more settled weather and lower temperatures.

March was cold, rainy and windy, giving way to an initially warm spring. April and much of May brought rainfall and cooler temperatures, followed by periods of heat, storms and some significant hailstorms.

Summer began with unstable weather, but from July onwards conditions became very dry and hot. August saw an intense heatwave, with temperatures regularly around 35°C and peaks close to 40°C.

Temperatures dropped significantly at the end of August, with no rainfall. The 2025 harvest began on 9th September under stable weather conditions.

Grape origin

White wine aged in oak from mostly our verdejo vineyards located in Fuente de las Hontanillas (Quintanilla de Arriba – Valladolid) at an altitude higher than 850 meters. Other varieties: godello and albillo are used but in less percentage.

Tasting notes

Bright yellow in color. The nose is delicate, with floral aromas and a variety of fruit notes, complemented by subtle hints of spice. On the palate, it is fresh, with an excellent balance of body and persistence.
